More on MeeVee
Looks like MeeVee, like any good web startup, monitors its own name in Technorati tags.
Got an e-mail from them on Wednesday:
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the mention in your blog. I wanted to let you know that many of your concerns about features will be addressed in our 2.0 release next month. I also wanted to tell you that the whole "new episodes only" thing is a TV network issue. Unfortunately, we have no control over it. It bugs the hell out of me too.
If you're interested in talking further, please feel free to email me back. We’re about to head into Alpha testing. Would you be interested in being a tester?
Best,
Marjorie Kase

Looks like I'll be beta testing the next version of MeeVee, which already sounds very cool.
I've been doing a bit of research on the company, and they seem to be a lot bigger than I originally assumed. This job posting refers to RSS feeds, so that's a definite good sign for the future. They seem to be the most full-featured web app for TV management, according to this chart on Techcrunch:

The one feature that I really want (besides RSS feeds) is some kind of integration with my DVR. Yahoo! TV apparently offers it (for TiVo anyway). I haven't actually played with MythTV yet, but it has a web interface, so I'm sure some sort of API could be worked out between them and MeeVee.
I'm looking forward to testing out the new MeeVee.
